a candid look at 2-3 standout campaigns. Together, they will unpack the creative process — from the
initial brief to the unexpected challenges — and share the strategic decisions, collaborative
moments and innovations that shaped each project. If you would like to submit a proposal for the
campaign showcase, please note that it must have two speakers – one from the agency and one from the
client side.
Timeline
Stages
Strategic Stage
Our strategic stage will welcome celebrity speakers, government officials, global thought leaders and C-level executives. The content will be focused on effective tactics for growing brands and businesses, visionary leadership and strategic decision-making. If you would like to speak at the strategic stage, please ensure you nominate very high-level speakers who will be a big draw for Athar delegates.
Spotlight Stage
The Spotlight Stage will host local and regional talent, industry leaders and rising stars shaping the creative landscape. Focused on the nuances of the Saudi market and the wider MENA region, this stage will feature insightful discussions, case studies and success stories that resonate with the local audience. If you would like to speak on the Spotlight Stage, we encourage dynamic individuals with deep regional expertise and impactful stories to share.
Community Stage – Curated by Our Partners
The Community Stage is where ideas come to life through interactive workshops, hands-on sessions and fringe content curated by our partners. Designed for collaboration, learning and open discussions, this stage offers a space for creatives, marketers and innovators to engage directly with experts and peers. If you are interested in hosting a session at the Community Stage, please reach out to Nadeem Quraishi, Commercial Director at [email protected] or Ghassan Ezzeddine, Partnerships Manager [email protected] for more information.
How Can You
Make Your Proposal
Stand Out?
The best talks are those that focus on a single idea and really delve into it – we are
looking for innovative ideas, their practical applications and relevance to current
challenges
Be specific – thoroughly planned, well-crafted, detailed narratives result in the best
sessions
Don’t be shy to share what you have learned from your failures, as this adds a lot of
authenticity to your submission and it’s something that Athar delegates appreciate a lot
If you’re exploring a topic don’t simply share your own viewpoint or use your work as an
example. Include an analysis of the great work of others as well
Explain why and how and think about what it means for the future of this industry
Sessions, where agencies co-present with brands, tend to be the most popular and
well-attended
Sales presentations or showreels of work disguised as a talk won’t impress the audience.
Include case studies that the audience can learn from, explore the opinions of others and
explain the backstory of your views
