Visa Information

To enter Saudi Arabia, visitors will need to obtain a visa.  There are three ways to apply for a visa:

  1. Applying for an e-Visa ahead of their trip  – open to only eligible countries
  2. GCC residents – open only to GCC residents
  3. Non Eligible countries or non GCC residents

The below highlights the procedure for each of the options mentioned above:

1. APPLYING FOR AN E-VISA

The eVisa is valid for one year, and allows for multiple entries allowing visitors to spend up to 90 days in Saudi Arabia.  Visitors are able to apply for an e-visa if they are a passport holder of the following eligible countries:

North America:

Europe:

  • Albania
  • Andorra

To apply, fill out the application form here, pay the Visa fee and obtain your online visa. Please note when applying, the applicant’s passport must be valid for at least six months.

2. GCC RESIDENTS

GCC residents who have a residency visa from one of the GCC countries with a minimum validity of at least three months beyond the date of entry into Saudi can apply for an e-visa.  Please note when applying, the applicant’s passport must be valid for at least six months.

To apply for an e-visa as a GCC resident, you need to fill out the application form here, pay the Visa fee and obtain your online visa.

3. NON ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES OR NON GCC RESIDENTS

Visitors who are not on the eligible countries list or who are not GCC residents will need to visit an embassy or consulate or authorised visa office in their country of residence to enter Saudi.  Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the date of entry into Saudi.  Additional documentation may be required such as return ticket, proof of employment, financial solvency/bank statements, identification, etc.
